It's been a quit few weeks for us. Holidays, grandkids, sickness and weather all contributed to not doing much. We've picked up from a few places but stayed home. Thursday we went to Bottoms Up. I went down thinking rueben but when I got there it was wing day and also thought about steak.
The Glue went with fried chicken with a salad and chips. I'm trying to limit my fried food intake so I stayed away from it. The waitress and cooked talked about how good the wings and ribeye were. The Glue ordered and finally decided to try the ribeye. The cook brought out a couple seasonings for me to try. I ordered a medium steak with seasoning I believe was called Oh Yeah. I also got a salad but went with steamed veggies. Normally I would have gotten slaw but they'd had to throw it out that morning. The salad was good and their French dressing is really good. Surprisingly the veggies really hit the spot. The steaks tenderness was great and the flavor was really good but it was cooked to well done instead of medium. Their chicken is always good and the Glue said it was no exception then. Their chips are one of our favorites and hard to stay away from. 🍺🍺🍺🍺 We checked out the spillway on the way home and normally would have gone on a little ride but I had to pick up Ethan from school. We were going to Paducah or Cape yesterday but had to cancel, we should get back to going places more frequently now.
