We went to Kretzers yesterday with John & Lisa (aka Baby Daddy & Baby Mama). They'd never been there and seemed to be impressed there was a place like that in such a small town.
It was all you can eat crab legs for $59 and there at least 8 or 10 people having them. Not bad for 1pm on a Friday afternoon. When we went there before we didn't see the salad bar but it is the best I've seen in a long time. I'm not sure if it was smoked or roasted pork but it was on there along with a wide variety of toppings, pasta and soup. After quite a while trying to decide the girls both went with the salad bar while both the boys decided on the special of catfish nuggets. We both got onion rings instead of fries and also add a salad. The food came out quick and was ready just as we got back from the salad bar. Some people want their salad first and then the meal but it doesn't really matter to me. The catfish nuggets were excellent and there were a lot of them. The onion rings were handbreaded and also on point. The slaw was creamy style and it was good but nothing stood out. The one trip salad was $3 and good but it was way too much food for me. Baby Daddy was also very pleased with the catfish and onion rings. Neither girl cared for the bbq chili but seen other wised pleased. 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺 On the way back we stopped at the Blue Room. It was Baby Mama & Baby Daddys first time there too. It's not the same as before the fire, way brighter and just a different vibe. Yesterday the place was almost full and music was loud and we'd never seen it like that. We then stopped at the Fuzzy Duck for one before heading to the Twisted Vine. We we got there the place was closed and a for sale sign on it so add that to another place that has closed. We finished up the day with a couple at Brews Brothers and it was time for me go home.
