New Kahala

Yesterday we took the twins out to Kinkaid to see the spillway.  I thought it would be roaring but I guess the lake was so low it just filled up.  After we dropped them off we went to try Texas Roadhouse in Marion.  We'd been to the ones in Cape and O'fallon but not Marion.  When we got there the parking lot was full and we found out there was a 30 minute wait.  Keep in mind this was at 2pm.  My back plan was Frenchmans Widow but when we got there they were only serving soft drinks so I said screw it let's just pick up New Kahala.  On the way there we passed Turners Table at Crab Orchard golf course.  If Lisa hadn't already order I'd have stopped there.
I'd ordered beef in garlic sauce with extra sauce and veggies, spice level one.  I got hot and sour soup as my side.  Lisa ordered rice noodles spice level two with an egg roll.  When we got home my soup was wonton soup. Not their fault Lisa had fat fingered the app when she ordered.
Number 1 spice level is what I normally get but this was way spicier than normal.  I'd taken a little of the rice noodles and after one bite I couldn't feel my lips so I didn't eat anymore of it.  I ate my order knowing I would regret it but it was so spicy all I could taste was the spiciness.
