The Glue is finally feeling better so we got a chance to finally get out. It was Monday so the choices of places to go is limited especially ones with draft beer. After much deliberations and a lot of "I don't care" we finally settled on a little ride around Giant City and then eat at O'Charleys. It's not one of our favorites by any means but they have a nice menu and several draft beer options.
When we got there we both got tall Blue Moon drafts. Blue Moon isn't one of our go to beers but sometimes it tastes really good and this was one of those times although it seemed more orange than the last one we had. I knew I'd regret it but I ordered the seafood platter with slaw and a side salad with french dressing. The Glue went with the $5 special chicken nachoes with the queso on the side. We split the salad when it arrived and it really hit the spot but the croutons weren't as good as most other places. The seafood platter arrived with fried shrimp, fried cod and stuffed crab. The Glue took one of the three stuffed crabs and like it. I wasn't sure if I'd like the stuffed crab but it was actually good. The fried shrimp was solid. I'm not a big cod fan but this was pretty good. Overall I was happy. The Glue on the other hand wasn't wild about her nachoes, the shredded cheese wasn't melted and the pico seemed to be just diced tomatoes. 🍺🍺🍺 (really brought down by the nachoes)
