We've had some of the Glues family staying with us so it's been rather hectic not to mention I haven't been feeling very good. Time to catch up a little.
Last Monday we went down to Cape Girardeau and ate at Port Cape for the first time in a long time. With six people with varying tastes it's hard to find a place that suits all of them and Port Cape did. I ordered a rueben with side salad and chips. The Glue got shrimp and grits. My side salad really hit the spot and the french dressing was made in house. The rueben was solid and the chips were real good. The Glue liked the shrimp and the remoulade on the grits made them tolerable, neither of us really like grits. Everyone else said they liked their food. In fact they liked it enough that Debbie left her credit card there. The next day the visitors went to take Mike #2 to the airport to fly back to Buffalo. They detoured down to Cape to pick up the card and while they were there at again. 🍺🍺🍺🍺 While we were there we also checked out Spectrum record bar and Kathy bought some albums there while we had a drink. We finished the visit with a trip to Katy O'ferrels then went for a little drive on our way back.
