Yesterday Lisa was going with Bailey and her herd to Cape so the kids could see an ENT. I had an early doctors appoint but before I left Lisa texted me that the appointments were all cancelled so we decided on breakfast after my appointment.
Mondays are slim pickings for restaurants, if the weather was better we would have tried Turners Table but it came down to Harbaughs or Sunny Street Cafe. I'd been to Harbaughs a couple times recently so we went to Sunny Street. When we walked in there was my classmate and barber Barb so we sat across from her and her sister and talked about a variety of things but some of it I couldn't hear. I wanted to try something besides corned beef hash I usually get there so I went with a sausage and mushroom omelet with a side of B&G and a fruit cup. Lisa ordered their big bite breakfast and chose bacon and her eggs sunny side up. She also ordered B&G instead of toast. My omelet was good but it seemed like it was lacking something. The B&G was better than I remember and really good. The fruit cup is a really nice addition and really tasty. Lisa's looked really good and she didn't complain so I guess she liked it. Overall nothing to complain about but nothing to brag about either. 🍺🍺🍺🍷
