Yesterday we decided to go to The Mill in Sesser since they have a good selection of draft beer and are open for inside dining. We were the only customers there but they do a nice job of spacing our their tables and the waitress was masked anytime she came to our table. I ordered beer battered catfish with slaw and a side salad. The Glue got spicy wings and fried cauliflower. My catfish was real good but very heavy, think Long John Silvers but much better. The side salad was good size so we were able to share it and the slaw was real good even though it was creamy. I tried the Glue's cauliflower and thought they were good. She liked the wings but the dipping sauces weren't that appealing to either of us. Next time we really need to try their sandwiches.
After we left we went to Pheasant Hollow to see if they were open inside and they were so we stayed. They had Drunken Piper in stock again so I got one of those and the Glue got a double slushy. The bartender said I could fill up a growler to go of the Drunken Piper. Amazon had sent me the wrong size and color of growler but I traded with for a 32oz.. I picked up a bottle of Sauced Up Smokers BBQ sauce to bring home which I really like. Prairie Hogs BBQ had their food trailer there and a lady walked in with their shirt on. I'd never heard of them and asked where they were from, Woodlawn/Oakville. I mentioned I was buying a competitors sauce and she brought in samples of their two sauces, pulled pork and brisket chili. The Glue liked their Prairie Hot so we got a bottle of that too.
