With the Glue returning from her California trip Roll'em If Ya Got'em took to the courts for the first time this season with it's official line up.
In the first game we played the other undefeated team Too Old To Bowl and ex super sub Fred. Roll'em got off to a quick start thanks to a pair of two point frames and a 4-0 lead. Thanks to some very good first balls Too Old to Bowl followed with a pair of single point frames and then a two point frame to tie the score at 4-4. They then ran off five more single point frames to beat us 9-4 with most of these points being the result of their last throw either edging us out or mostly hitting our point ball just enough for them to get a point. In the second game we took on Boccezilla. In they first game the Glue threw with Pete while I threw with Roberto. I decided the we needed to keep the chemistry of Roberto and Pete together so we went with them on one end and me and the Glue on the other. They got the first point but we answered and kept the pressure on taking a 9-5 win in a game that was uncomfortably close. On the night none of us threw real well and were kind of lucky to get out of the night with a split. Speaking of the Glue's trip getting her to Lambert Airport at 5am and then picking her up at midnight are not trips I particularly liked especially when her return flight was 45 minutes late.
