What a game

A quick food note, imagine that, on Saturday we went down to Jordo's Pizza in AJ with our daughter and son-in-law.  Pizza was good but they don't have beer which was disappointing.  We'll probably go back if for no other reason than it's on the top 20.
What a roller coaster of emotions for us Packer fans in the Packer-cowboy game.  I thought we had to get off to a fast start and a good sized lead to keep their run game from taking over.  Dallas got a FG to start the game and then Green Bay answered with three straight TD's to go up 21-3 with a lot of game left.  The cowboys then answered with a TD and a FG to make it 21-13 at half which after being up 21-3 was somewhat of a disappointment.
We got the second half kick off and answered with a nice drive and a TD.  We had a chance to put it away at this point when Hyde made a real nice play for an interception but as we were driving Rodgers threw a rare interception.  It was at this point where our offense went a little flat and our real defense showed up allowing two TD's and a two point conversion to tie the score.  We drove down and got a FG but then our defense went back on the field with too much time on the clock.  Our defense managed to hold them to a FG but there were only 35 seconds left in regulation.
We get a quick first down and then Rodgers gets sacked for a big loss and I'm yelling to let the time run out but Rodgers calls a timeout.  On 3rd and 20 Rodgers rolled left rolled some more and then somehow found enough space to make a great throw to Cook who made a great catch on the sideline for a first down with 3 seconds left.
Out comes Crosby and he pounded down the middle but dallas barely got a time out called prior to the kick.  On the next attempt the snap and hold looked good but the ball looked wide left but somehow knuckled right and through the crossbars for the win.  Needless to say it got real loud at the Melvin household.  After all the playoff let downs we've had over the past several years we really needed this one to go our way.  Another blown lead would have been very hard to take.
Oh well, live to play another game.  Go Pack Go
