Unbelievable. After two days of the NFL draft the Packers have failed to add a wide receiver in what is supposed to be the best wide receiver draft ever. It might be understandable if they'd draft a tackle and inside linebacker but the draft a quarterback, a running back and a tight end. To make it worse they traded up for the quarterback and no longer have a fourth round draft choice.
Twenty years from now if we're closing the window on our third hall of fame quarterback in a row I'll admit I was wrong but that's highly unlikely. So far I hate this draft for the Packers.

I've been fighting back pain since the St. Patrick's tournament a month ago. It finally got the best of me last week. I had three or four days where I could barely get out of bed and there was only one position where I could get relief. I went to the doctor last Wednesday and got a cortisone shot and put on muscle relaxers but it kept deteriorating. On Thursday I got put on Norco but it really didn't do much either. I went back to the doctor on Friday and got another cortisone shot and a big shot of prednisone in the hip. Things got a little better but still bad then one Sunday the Glue mentioned using some of a cbd rub she got in California. Almost immediately I got some relief but we didn't have very much of it left. Monday Chuck at Big Muddy Brewing told me to get in touch with D&D Hemp uptown. They are only open by appointment and so I set one up. The Glue had to go up and get the stuff since I couldn't walk more than a few feet. She came back with a rub and some gummies to try. I don't think the rub worked as well as the other stuff but it did help relieve pain. Everyday I got a little better and then on Wednesday I sent a message to the doctor about another shot but he said to take a blister pack of steroids. I'm still getting better but am limited in what I can do without the pain acting up again. The Glue's brother Danny has shipped some more of the original stuff and hopefully it will be here today.
When I was a kid I was diagnosed with scoliosis and had to go to a specialist in St. Louis for several years. I had to do special exercises and wear leather soled shoes which sucked. I've added arthritis, degenerative disc disease and stenosis to the problem and probably have spine surgery in my future. Yesterday we went over to Cambria and got Caribbean Hut to bring back. We really wanted to there a couple times but couldn't due to conflicts. We missed the jerk shrimp but had been wanting to try the cracked shrimp and as a bonus they had cracked lobster.
We got there earlier than normal because I was worried about them running out of lobster and there were a few people there. |
