Friday started off with the always fun stress test. This one was different from other ones that I've taken. I didn't have to use the treadmill but was injected with some stuff that I guess stressed the heart. I was told that a queasy feeling and panic were two possible side effects but would only last about a minute. I had both and it made for a long minute or so, not much fun.
When I got home we decided to go to El Paisano for some tacos. I got the fish tacos which were ok but I should have stuck with my stand by street tacos. Friday night was Brews Brothers bock party with Downstate Music Co. who are probably my favorite local music option. I think they had nine people playing in the band Friday and a couple who weren't there so they are a large band. They play a lot of 60's and 70's music especially Chicago type music to take advantage of their horn section. They were having some sort of sound problem in the beginning but I couldn't hear anything. The open setting is ideal for Downstate, indoors they are kind of overpowering. The block party had a pretty good crowd including the grandtwins for a while. After my Saturday morning golf game with Rod, Ted and Mike we decided to go to Route 51 for a late lunch. I went with my standby fish while the Glue went with a Cuban. I didn't care for the baked beans that I got, I like traditional baked beans and these had several different kinds of beans. My fish was good but the Glue's Cuban was real good and will probably be my new standby there.
