Yesterday we made a quick trip down to Cape to get some cajun at Broussards. We got our normally combo platter with crawfish ettouffe and gumbo. They let us swap out the red beans and rice for a second salad. We both ordered a Sam Adams Octoberfest.
What can I saw, you don't go wrong with cajun at Broussards, it was great. Afterwards we walked up the hill to Katy O'ferrells for a beer. On the way up there was an obviously messed up woman walking up the hill too. Luckily she was on the other side of the street. She was F this and F that. Parked in front of Minglewood was a really cool looking car and the woman kept going on and on about it being an Excalibur and how she would own one when she grew up. Fortunately she stopped in a park halfway up and we didn't have to hear her the whole way. For one of the few times there was nothing really happening at Katy O'ferrells so we drank our beer and headed home. On the way we decided to take advantage of the great weather and head up into LaRue-Pine Hills. Happy birthday Bailey
