I've been on a bit of a below average run on my food choices when eating out so yesterday we went to Kretzers to try and break that run.
I went up thinking catfish and stayed with the plan. I got slaw and a salad bar to go with it. Everyone else got sandwiches and we also got onion rings for everyone to share. The onion rings were really good but I didn't eat many to try and stay away from fried food coma. The slaw was mayo based but still good. The salad is a salad bar and is great, lots of items to chose from and all looked fresh. Only downside is the carrots were baby carrots and whole. The catfish is also great, maybe my favorite anywhere. Everyone else seemed to like their sandwiches. Overall a great choice. On the way home I wanted to stop at Fuzzy Duck in Nashville only to find out it's now Slip In Saloon. I was disappointed in the place when I found out they didn't have Alaskan Amber on tap anymore. The disappointment turned to excitement when I started noticing all the Packer stuff on the walls. It got a lot better when I noticed there were two game used bats hanging, one from Hunter Pence and the other from Tim Lincecum. We finished up at Da-Nite and stayed there way too long but it was a great night until we got home and I slipped on a clothes hanger and skinned up my knee.
