After visiting the Dermatologist and mowing the front yard I didn't want to go very far to grab something to eat. We hadn't went on a drive for a while so I also thought about a short one of those. While mowing the yard I remembered Log Cabin Tavern so we decided to give it a try. We were going to go there last week but I ended up not feeling well so we didn't.
The place has a nice bar and several tables with a lot of signs decorating the inside. They didn't have drafts and just the standard beers so I ordered a Stag and the Glue got a Busch Bavarian. I went over thinking about a burger and kept to the plan. I ordered a garlic burger medium with mozzerella on it. The Glue got a cheeseburger and we both ordered chips. The burger was excellent, best I've had in a while. It came with grilled mushrooms and onions on it. Really nice crispy outside but was a little more done on the inside than I like it. Only downside to the burger is the grilled onions and mushrooms got the bottom bun soggy. The chips were mediocre, not much seasoning and some seemed barely cooked. We both really liked the place and will probably go back pretty soon. 🍺🍺🍺🍺 chips really held it back. We went down the road a bit to the Pitstop by it didn't appear to be open anymore. We went for a ride south of Marion then looped around and ended up going on a lot longer ride than I expected.
