After watching my great nephew play football on Saturday morning I was in the mood for a ribeye. Not really unusual for me but we haven't had one for quite awhile. Most of our goto places don't open until 4 so we decided to go to Logan's. On the way over I thought about 20's Hideout but they didn't open until 2 so we stopped in at 618 Taphouse for a beer. We both ordered Avalanche Amber and really enjoyed it while sitting on the patio.
While we were there I checked the price of the Hideout and it was really expensive so we were back on for Logans. We got a 16oz ribeye with a salad and chips to split between us. I had them put cajun seasoning on the ribeye. They brought out some rolls and they are always good. The waitress knew we were spitting it so she brought us an extra bowl for the salad. The salad was good but it was a lot smaller than it used to be. The ribeye was surprisingly very very good. Tender and a lot of flavor. The chips were another matter. Plain with not a lot of flavor. Salt helped but needed something else. 🍺🍺🍺🍺 mostly because of the steak, would be even higher if not of the chips.
