Yesterday we went to MOD pizza in Carbondale. It seemed like a pizza version of Subway and it was kind of confusing for first timers. The person behind the counter also seemed hurry us along even though no one else was in line. All the ingredients were on display at the counter and it's the same price no matter how many toppings you get on your pizza.
We got a little extra sauce on ours with pepperoni, salami and mushrooms. Since they only have 11" pizzas we also got a side of cheesy garlic bread. They have a very limited selection of beer but they do have two taps and we went with a pitcher of Blue Moon. The pizza and cheesy garlic bread arrived quickly and they asked if I wanted dip. I thought they meant for the bread but they started putting it on the pizza. I stopped them before too much was on it. Neither of us were very impressed with the pizza but the cheesy garlic bread was good. The overall concept is really cool but there's too many local options that are a lot better and we aren't in any hurry to go back.
