Inspired by a pregame pep talk from their captain Roll'em went out and won both games last night without the Glue who was in St. Louis. In the first game a close contest against Boccilism was blown open with a four point frame by us to win 9-5. The second game was against our long time nemesis Squatchy Bocce. It was a back and forth contest that the Squatches were leading 7-6 when Clinker make the throw of the night. Big Ed had led off with a good first throw inches away from the pallino. After an errant throw I got enough of the ball to open it some which is when Clinker made a throw that took the pallino with it about 5' which stood for the point. Ryno then made a good lead off throw which stood up and he was able to get his next ball in for game point in a game that had a lot of good throws. Ryno and Clutch finished off both games in dramatic fashion.
I unveiled a new grip and stance which I'd been working on since I wasn't happen with my throws lately and was very pleased with the result. Hopefully I can continue to work with it a dial it in even better.
