Friday evening we headed back over to T Street Pub in Christopher. Most places around have some sort of fish special on Friday nights and T Street was no different offering all you can eat catfish but I went over determined to get something different. We both decided on 24 ounce Shiner Bock drafts which came in an ice cold frosty mug. The Glue decided to go with the Pasta Roma. I wavered on not getting the fish but I stuck to the plan and went with grilled shrimp pasta. I think our choices were mainly because of how good the pasta bar looked and smelled when we'd been there a couple weeks before. Both pastas came with salads and we both got the house sweet Italian. The salads only had lettuce, carrots and cheese but were topped with two slices of pepperoni and were real good as was the house dressing. My pasta were too dry and needed more of the garlic butter sauce. It was ok but it basically it tasted a lot like plain pasta. The Glue thought hers could use more sauce but I thought it was just right and we both thought it was very good.
The place wasn't very crowded when we got there but it was filling up fast by the time we left. With the variety of the menu and the quality of the food not to mention a good selection of draft beer I'm sure it will be on our list of go to places and we'll be back sooner rather than later.
