T Street Pub

Yesterday we went to T Street Pub in Christopher to try out their pasta bar.  We'd stopped in there before to have a beer when they were having it and it smelled delicious when we walked in the bar so we've been wanting to try it for a while.  The pasta bar isn't your typical one where there are several pastas that are already cooked and you chose one.  This one there is a cook who prepares your order when you place it.
They have several beers on draft which is always a plus for us.  I went Shiner Bock and the Glue went with AmberBock.  We both decided on the pasta bar and got the house dressing on our salads.  There was two kinds of noodles you could choose from and both of us went with the fettuccine over the bow tie.  There were several sauces to choose from including marinara, alfredo and a couple others.  Both of us went with the marinara.  Several meats and veggies were available to choose from for toppings.  I went the steak and mushrooms and the Glue went with meatballs and mushrooms.  I was surprised that the steak was the ends from the filets they trimmed.
The salads and dressing were both very good and big enough we brought quite a bit home.  The pasta bowls were a different story.  They were way beyond big.  We could have split a bowl and still had plenty of left overs.  The pasta was great and having it prepared just for you is awesome.
I don't think I ate half my bowl and once the Glue stirred hers it didn't look like she'd ate anything but we were both stuffed.  In retrospect the half bowl would have been plenty but for four more dollars you get twice as much and plenty of leftovers for warming up.
