The Glue had gotten a buy one get one free deal for a $25 at T Street so we decided to go there last night. It's been one of our go to's but we hadn't been there in a while mainly because of not wanting to wait until 4pm when it opens.
We got there a little later than I wanted and the place was starting to fill up but there were still plenty of tables left. The waitress that took our drink order wasn't sure what all the drafts were so we decided on Shiner Bock. I'd forgotten they had a larger size of mug and the waitress didn't ask so we just got the regular 16oz glass. We decided to split the surf and turf special which is a 16oz ribeye with shrimp on top. We opted for fried shrimp and had the ribeye fixed medium with montreal seasoning on it. For sides we got a side salad and onion rings plus we got an order of fried mushrooms. The salads there are always good but I think they've cut down the size of the side salad but it was still big enough for us to share. The house dressing is tasty. The rest of the order got there quickly. The steak was a little overdone and fatty but nothing terrible. The flavor was very good. The onion rings were good but nothing special and the same goes for the mushrooms. Splitting orders seems to work very well for us. Overall nothing really stood out but everything was good. 🍺🍺🍺🍺
