The Glue and I went over to Herrin for my cousin Jane's daughters outdoor wedding Saturday afternoon. It was at my 92 year old Aunt's place and they had the place looking great. It brought back a lot of memories from my childhood when I spent a lot of time over there with my cousin Joey. I'm not overly big on weddings but this one was very enjoyable. The only real downside was that I was in the sun for about half the service and then our table was in the sun for a while also. They had a food truck there fixing a variety of grilled cheese sandwiches which I'd never seen before but really liked the idea. All in all it was a great time talking to my relatives with the added bonus of the groom being a Packer fan.
Once we decided it was time to go we had an option of going to Frenchmans Widow with my nephew who hadn't been there before or with our daughter to Mackies pizza. We went with Bailey to Mackies which was a good choice as the pizza is good and different than the other pizza places around here. The worse part of the evening was a very intense ride home that could have ended in a very bad way but luckily it didn't.
