In the first game we got a forfeit victory over the Usual Suspects. I'd have rather played the game but it happens. It did put us a little behind our opponent in the next game since they would have already played a game.
In the second game we played Bertha's Ball Handlers on the middle court. We started the game out with a three point frame. The followed with a two point frame. We followed up with a single and another three point frame for a 7-2 lead. Then disaster struck and we gave up four points which made the score 7-6. The next frame they had two points showing with game point in their hands but their last throw move the point ball and pallino just enough to knock them out of one point and suddenly the game was tied. The next throw they had two more chances at game point but couldn't covert. With the ball close to the wall our second throw was good enough for them to use all their balls before they could get close. Our third throw moved both of their closest balls and stayed close enough to the pallino to give us two points and a 9-8 win. It was great seeing a long time friend Travis there who is battling some health issues.
