week 8

On a very nice evening the 2019 spring season came to an end last night. 
In the first game we took on Boccelicious who were short a player so they picked up Big Ed from Squatchy to play for them.  The game started out harmless with both teams picking up a point but with the score tied 1-1 we left it wide open for them and they hammered us with a four point frame.  From this point on it was basically trading points and we lost 9-5 in a game where none of us threw well.
Reeling from that disaster we took on 2 Boobs and 2 Girls in the second game.  This game was different from the start as we made shots when we had to and never left anything that was completely wide open and we won 9-5.
Unfortunately we found out last night that Clutch and Herbster aren't playing during the summer.  Just as unfortunate we found out Fred's team isn't playing either but he'd already told another Wednesday team he'd play for them.  Roberto has said he will play this summer and I've got a couple other feelers out so hopefully we can cobble together a team.
